We'd pull Stras.

That dude has a serious dislike for Baker.

I've heard of people doing this. I know that in an emergency you go for what you can get but what if your teenaged son was the last one in the shower and..... :spaz:

I think the bathtub water is better used for toilet flushing, in the event of a water outage.

We have Fairfax county water (exceptionally reliable) and downhill septic flow (just need gravity, which also seems reliable).  Our next door neighbors however have an uphill flow, so they rely on electricity to be able to flush.  After the derecho they ran an extension cord across the street from a neighbor who didn't lose power so they could stay in the house.

In the last week Gio, Max, and Stras have been clearly laboring on the mound and in all three situations the manager left them in. These games don't really matter, and we've now got 11 arms in the bullpen. Get these guys out before they go from hurt to injured and screw the pooch for the playoffs.

Hadn't thought of that. Seeing what happened to the people of Houston made me think that most of us have no clue what it's like to go through something like that. I remember a week when we got about 4 inches of water and we were nagging about not being able to go to the pool. :? That crap didn't even soak our ankles. They got something like 3 feet of water in a matter of 2 or 3 days.

Solis looking much better recently. 2.40 ERA since coming off the DL.

Wouldn't it be nice to have two "A" bullpens?

If he's going to get 4" off the plate like that he's untouchable.

When I was on well water (electric pump-no power=no water), I'd always fill the bathtubs before storms for flushing the toilet.  Figured if worse came to worse and needed drinking water, I could always boil it.

I would think you would want to filter a bit too, lest you get a short one.
