I picked Game 7 of the World Series with my first pick of my playoff lottery.  rolling the dice and hope I come up with a Sox / Nats series that goes that far.  At that point, you'll be happy that the team I root for is under .500 in game I've gone to.

They'll need to handle midges (and the local team) more effectively than the Yankees did first.

Not this time - let's hope for a Nats/Astros series

That would be nice.  That was my long shot pick at 42-1 odds before the season started.

For this poll I'll say they get bounced in Game 6 of the NLCS

In a surprising turn of events, the Nationals will coast in the first round of the playoffs, easily defeating the Cubs in 4, possibly even 3 games.

The Nats will go on to the NLCS to face the Arizona Diamondbacks.  In a seesaw battle, the two teams will draw even after game 6.  The Nationals will draw even in that game behind some late offensive heroics.

In game 7, Robbie Ray will take the mound.  He'll give up an early dinger, and then settle in to shut out the Nationals, who will lose 2-1 after the bullpen gives up a late run.

Why?  It's the Nats.  That's why.
