The Nats chief of revenue just announced that the team will be handing out K cards to fans entering the ballpark. That makes the $65 standing room prices easier to understand.
$149 face price at Wrigley. And there are not as many good places to stand. Ricketts must have bought more K cards than the Lerners. Plus they collected $50 refundable deposit to be in a lottery for playoff tickets.

I was going to enter the lottery but figure my chances were so small and the 50 pissed me off.

Just looked at Stubhub.  Friday tickets start at $77.  Saturday at $90.

For comparison, Disney on Ice at the GMU Eagle Bank Arena are starting at $20.  I have a friend who works at the arena and he says that they sell more beer during disney performances than during anything other event.

Anticipation is going to build to a ridiculous level day-by-day, throughout the week, and I'm already pretty amped up for game 1.

You still get to use the piss troughs though.  The Nats losing in Shiiitecago would be glorious.

Nah, because either RZ or Werth will take their's looking, so that's a backwards K.

I already forwarded it to your address. But I don't mean just the Lerners. That was meant for all team owners. Prices are just ridiculous.

Forget who I was talkin' to at the M & G (probably TT) about the parking prices as well.

Thanks! Got a garage spot on Half Street for Saturday's game for only $20. Just on the other side of M Street from the park. That's a steal.

Only for the first two games.  And that one I posted from Parkwhiz was $30 when I went back to look at it last night.    :?

SpotHero waits until game times are posted.

I saw those Park Whiz prices went up, I wanted to buy 20 of them.

It was briefly a market inefficiency.    You're welcome.

I wonder if any of these parking events are refundable if the game isn't played.?

When I used to park, I tried to avoid whiz.  Are there any whiz-free lots?

Yes, you will get your money back. Except if the game is canceled due to rain and you park in the lot during the delay.
