With the MLB app...don't have to worry about syncing anything up. At least for me it's been spot on. And so much nicer than listening to FP. I like Bob...just FP is too much. Plus C&D are on point tonight.

FP talking about the play that won the game for Cole (MAT double play) with a 1 run lead in the 7th :hysterical:

Eh, the move makes no sense if they announced Difo even if it works out. Getting the 1 out of 10 chance to go in your favor will bite you when it matters. The manager has no leeway for his decision making.

But he wasn’t announced...

I can't really think of any reason to pull a switch-hitting PH once announced, but there's no evidence he was announced.  Online box shows only Read.

That makes me wonder why Mattingly would bring in the reliever before the pinch hitter was announced, but Donny isn't known for his strategic prowess either.

If I got apps, I gotta buy a new platform to support 'em.    :old:    C & D are abusin' the stadium and the crowd.

Me neither.  Not a situation you'd bring in a lefty just to keep Lind on the bench, either.  Assume it's just Mattingly with some Donnieball.

C and D are truly in rare form tonight.

The commenting on the overheard crowd conversations is great.  It's like Mystery Science Theater 3000, baseball edition.

I knew you'd get it.  I actually have the FM soundtrack.  Did that appear on any other album of theirs?

I’ve sad this before, but baseball is a radio game for me. Most games, I listen to the radio, and record the game. If it’s a big play, i’ll Go and watch on the TV.
I believe the order that baseball should be consumed is 1) in park, 2) On Radio 3) on tv.
I know I’m weird, it’s a remnant of listening to games with my granddad while we played cards or he taught me how to tie flies or any number of other things.

Scraps

It NEVER fails. Bust on Murphy's defense, he gets  3+ hits with an opportunity at the cycle.  Triple???... maybe no cycle.  :D

Go Nats!

Sounds good to me.    Though at my age, I do like pictures.

He tipped that. Change of direction on slow mo. Not sure how an ump can see that if they don't clearly hear it.
