yep.  doesn't exactly inspire confidence, when jose not only isn't in the on-deck area, but he doesn't even have his catcher's equipment off...

Jose Lobaton = Doublewide Espinosa. The similarities are staggering.

No way, at least with Lobi I don't have to listen to how awesome he would be, if only he didn't strike out a bazillion times

Did they just say they're playing the series in Houston this week? I guess the stadium and surrounding area weathered the storm pretty well?

Not quite, but pretty close. There are a couple of backups that are a tick worse. Either way, not good company to be in. The catcher position is the most glaring place the Nats can improve this winter.

Yep. MMP took some water in outlying storage areas and loading docks, but that's about it. Nothing near the playing surface and clubhouses. Still not sure it's the best decision to play there while the disaster is so fresh. It seems tone deaf to me.

Not sure what their fan base is but maybe it'll be a bit of normalcy for everybody.    Like baseball durin' the war or NFL when JFK was killed.

Yea I was thinking that too, life goes on and they'd have to suspend the season if they weren't going to play until things even begin to resemble normalcy there.
