Clinching the NL East

I know the division is rebuilding and had some injuries, but clinching 3 weeks before the end of the regular season is Pats-like. 

Except for the part where the Pats win in the postseason

I was there and would have liked to stay until the end of the Marlins-Braves game but there was no Finnnn!!!!!!! announcement  whether the parking lots would stay open past an hour post game. Thanks Nats management.  You havery no efinnn clue !!!

Pretty safe bet that if they're inviting fans to stay, they're not going to lock everyone's cars in.

Got to the Park around 12:15.    Missus humored me and accompanied me to the Loft.    Bought a beer and headed to the sunshine on the overhangs below.   The Loft was damned near empty.     Missus stayed in the shade.    Put my beer down on the ledge/counter.    It was a beautiful, sunny early September day.   The blue sky was clear and as usual, there was a breeze.     The grounds crew was watering the infield.     It was a Zen like moment.    I knew then that we'd clinch.      Closed my eyes and the PA put out this tune:

They talked about this on the radio today. He's pitching like he's got something to prove. I think he's sick of people thinking he's soft and frail. I hope he dominates in October. He's still the guy I love to pitch the most and there is just something satisfying about watching him put up double digit Ks and just mow through lineups.

I made a huge mistake by not going because I have tickets for Tuesday and I gambled that it wouldn't happen on Sunday. I had a late night Saturday night (celebrated wedding anniversary) and just couldn't rally. I'm still kicking myself. NANF.
