Honestly, just yank him there and forfeit the game. Let the fans all get one swing at batting practice the next three hours.

Cole screams 'reliever'. Can't work out why that transition hasn't been made.

with no TV up in New hamster, I read this thread and thought the score was 4-0 already.  OF course, with this line  up, 1-0 is almost like being ahead 1-0 in Colorado.

yup i think hed be a good one too because his fastball would be 95 probably. he can get weaker guys out. the slider is a decent 2nd pitch. he has no 3rd pitch thats that good,  his change is trash

We've never had the lead in Colordo...even in the games we've won...

The Astros announcers never tell what the next pitch will or should be. They shut up when they should. Mets announcers the same, and their jokes usually have some relation to the game.

It's painful to hear FP.

Without Cespedes their lineup maybe worse, dont fall for this fool's gold start.

Werth and Turner are both done. 0-1 and 0-2 respectively.

Took the pup for a nice, long walk.  Fully expected it to be a reverse pizza score upon my return.  Not too bad.

Mets TV:

(1) Conforto gone for the season; needs surgery on shoulder; hard recovery ahead

(2) Cespedes "strained" hamstring. Sounds worse than pulled hamstring. Done for the season???
