Got a lot of eclipse hater on here. It might be cool if the weather cooperates. Not sure I would go out of my way to see it.

My son picked up a friend and headed down to Charleston this morning. His grandparents got them glasses and a dock in Charleston Harbor to hang out at.

Oh yes, if the sky is clear at that time tomorrow I'll walk outside with my phone (I'll be in a meeting). But if it's cloudy I'll live...*shrug*

I've read that the eclipse can damage photo equipment straight on. I guess it's a point it away from the event.

Hole in one end .... white paper on the other. The hole "faces" the eclipse and you watch the event on the white paper. It's like photography when we used film.
