Ramos literally jumped up and down. No one took him out. He landed on level ground. Ramos was fragile as glass.
I don't know about fragile.  230 lb catchers should just not be jumping period.  I feel like I knew he was going to be out for the year while he was still in the air.

So college football starts soon. People are saying the SEC West might actually be a fight this year.
There were some good Premiere League games on today.

Tomorrow will be worse; waiting for the news on the injury.

We all know what it will be.

I'm to the point where I'd most rather watch the putrid news.
Same.  What is it about this city?  What did we do to deserve this?

I'm goin' to the first game.    Hope it's good news (though he won't play regardless).

I went to my first game this year the night the Nats won 10 to 1.  I was with my grandson near 3rd base and I remarked how much fun it was watching Bryce charging around third at full speed and ending up scoring.  He was going so fast....and now??

They do great work with these knee injuries nowadays.  I am sure he will be charging around the bases.  Just probably not this year.

His knee looked just like RG3s. I'd be shocked if he didn't destroy everything in it. Pretty sad.

I watched yesterday's game and some this morning before I had an errand to run.    I really enjoy the Premier League.

I saw Rooney scored the goal--good for him.

He'll be back next year. Not at the start of the season but probably by the all-star break.

I don't pay much attention in the off season but I was surprised to find Rooney was gone from MU.

Yup.  It completely buckled.  I'd be expecting ACL and MCL.  At least it's (hopefully) not the Bridgewater injury though the way it looked, can't even really rule that out.

It seems odd that we'd even have Bryce in the game in a situation like this. Major delay, wet field, still raining, practically meaningless game...seemed like just a boneheaded decision. Oh well, what's done is done.

He will be fine. Back in 8-10 months. Typically the guys who are screwed are one who have knee dislocations and such from contact. It looks bad, but ACLs aren’t career threatening typically.

freak Major League Baseball for even making us play this goddamn game.  Idiots just HAD to get a meaningless game in because we lost one yesterday and now the sport has lost one of it's biggest stars for something like a year.  Seriously, Rob Manfred should be tarred and feathered.  freak him.

My med school buddy who is one of team docs for LA Galaxy and UCLA just texted me this:

Is his name HH Holmes? :stir:

I bet there was one person in the stadium that thought the injury was funny. :?

Well, if anything will inspire change, losing the biggest star in basball will be what does it.

After the big freak up last night, MLB probably felt themselves in a corner.

I can't believe some of you are nagging about the fact that they played this game. And some of the same ones nagging are always nagging about rainouts and off days. :smh:
