How have they not called this thing yet?  Not like it's going to stop any time soon.

It's let up considerably. More of a heavy mist now.

I gave up. I just left. Seemingly no end in sight. And even if it’s played it won’t end until 2 AM.

Rain has stopped at the park. Guess they're trying to rack up more beer 🍻 sales before calling it.

One of the concessions guys told me that a lot of Nats players left. Not exactly a reliable source so make of it what you will.

You waited a lot longer than I would. I now have a policy I won't wait more than 60 minutes for a rain delay.

Yeah, but when you go to a lot of games waiting around gets really old. I just come back soon and do it all over again.

Stopped raining. No sight of grounds crew. Nats twitter has gone silent.

Grounds crew is picking up stuff and removing it from the field. Looks like a postponement announcement shortly.

Giants writers tweeting that their players have left the park. Nats have said nothing. Bigtime dick move on their part.

Horrible communications job by the Nats. Seems like this always happens AFTER it stops raining.

If the players really left and they took this long to postpone, that’s really crappy of the Nats. This is my first season as a STH and I have absolutely loved everything about it.  But their treatment of the customers during rain delays is inexcusable. I’m beyond pissed.

The fact that any fans go to Nats games at all is more kindness than they deserve.

Yep. Original 1:35 game moved up to 1:05. 7:05 is the makeup game.

Yes. I’m happy I left when I did. It was during lull in the rain. Made it home before it started raining again. Don’t disagree with the call. Just the communication with fans.

The bad news is they royally screwed you and the other fans on the postponement call.    The good news is at least you didn't drown.
