Living in Tulsa and Denver recently....I have...and this is no crap...on two occasions been asked if I worked for Walgreens while out wearing my red curly W hat.

I have been asked that by someone in Virginia. Sad.

I get that quite a bit from non-baseball fans...and Braves fans who think their being funny. I got asked if I was wearing a Wisconsin hat the other day, too.

I moved here from Wisconsin. Every day for a year, every time I say a Nats Cap, my knee jerk was to think it was a Badger one.

This person should have known better, too. There's no way I'd wear a Wisconsin cap.

if copyright trademark were no issue, i'm thinking:

Zimmerman - still dull Zimm
Murphy - Murph
Turner - Hooch
Rendon - Two-bags
Wieters - Angelos
Harper - Bam Bam
Eaton - Mighty Mouse
Werth - Wolfman

Just to name a few....

My girlfriend was asked why she was wearing a Walgreens shirt yesterday. And this was at the security entrance to the game last night. These people were that clueless that they didn't know who they were playing the whole series.

In fairness, the Walgreens W is pretty close to the Curly W

Neighbor gave me a Wegmans hat a few years ago.    It's part of my alternate uniform.

Do they still sell badger condoms in "Bucky got Lucky" packets on State Street?
