I mean .... why is this guy still in the freaking lineup?

And batting cleanup? Flip him and Rendon.  :hang:

So it just looks like he was in a slump when they stop testing and he starts raking.

Put him on the DL until September, let him get reset, and get his 100 PAs

I've said for a while that if this slump continues I think he'll spend some time on the DL when we get some players back but we're starting to run out of time for that.

It's becoming harder and harder to see Difo not being in this team's future.  All the kid does is continue to make plays.

News flash. Zimmerman is a streaky hitter. It's like a jump shooter in basketball. You can't get hot on the bench. You keep shooting.

Where do the Nats post projected starting pitchers for upcoming games...if they do that anymore?

Think he just needed to shake off some rust coming off the DL.  The kid can definitely pitch.

He's becoming a fun story this year. Right now, he's the first IF off the bench when Turner comes back and that can mean a lot of playing time.

It's beyond too late. He plays first. We have Lind. Rizzo got Kendrick. Just freaking do it.

Why is it Strasburg gets treated with kid gloves if he's so much as breathed on wrong, but every other player on this team practically has to have have a partially amputed limb to get put on the DL?

Usually ESPN's box scores will have a preview or matchup section.

Edit: They call it the "Conversation" section.

Your boy, Tanner "As good as Max" Roark is slated to start on Thursday: http://www.espn.com/mlb/conversation?gameId=370810120

Lobaton swings at ball four. I'd like to see Severino some.

He's not here for his bat.  His defense is really good.

Dusty: Oh I have a pitcher just coming off of injury? Cool, I'll pitch him multiple innings and see if I can break him again
