Sounds like mine.  I wired Bose outdoor speakers up in the rafters, and have a granite fire table (propane).  My big capital expenditure this season was a couple of blinds, the later afternoon sun was burning in on one side after I had to take a tree down next to the porch.  No shade = really hot.   Fixed now though.
I have a very strategically planted tree that solves that problem.  I hope it doesn't ever become an issue, as it is pretty close.

Haven't tried that yet but am willing to face the peril.  A baseball game is a fine time to taste.  I have these stones frozen that I drop in a drink when it's warm out, they don't dilute but keep the drink chilled for a while.  Let's face it, this isn't prime whiskey weather but if you like it, you roll with it.

Frozen stones, fireplace table, my life is changing before my eyes.

That is a sweet setup that could compel one to wear a safari suit with a pith helmet.

Albers is losing weight with all of this work.

Keep it trimmed so it doesn't touch the house and bring in bugs and animals.

A face for radio.  But the velvety baritone and even cadence makes him just an amazing commentator.

Tend to be way overpriced.  But we found one with a cracked top and offered to buy it without the granite, got it cheap and then had a piece of granite cut that matched our adjacent kitchen granite.  Still expensive but WAY cheaper than paying full price.  I always wanted a stone fireplace outside (integrated into the porch) but given the height of the porch (about 8' off the ground) the cost would have been prohibitive.

Some people need a lot of stroking, even if they have to do it themselves. ;)
