that 8 innings makes him about 38 innings from coming back next year for sure. He mentioned he is probably missing his next start for his 2nd baby. Jacob Turner coming back again lol.

Maybe I just want to be on the sunshine squad?

Everybody does. Some people just don't want to admit it.

For sure Dave is better. But if I watched him on TV for 162 games he would get on my nerves too.
He would probably punk FP on the air along about game 130 and that would be kinda fun.

that was one of the more memorable moments in Nats history, especially the standing ovation when Gio walked off the field and the post-game interview.  Wow.

Not for me i usually listen to him every game. I think of Him and Charlie he is the stronger part of the team. Dave doesnt have a "TV" face lets be honest that why they wont give him the gig but he should have it.

Yep, that's got truth to it.   "Familiarity breeds contempt."

I listen to him every game and I’m not tired of him yet.

All I can say Dave Jaegler>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Bob Carpenter. Much more enjoyable game.  Usually I watch the visiting broadcast + charlie and Dave.

Dave J. and turn off FP's mic unless Dave asks him to explain something.

I think that's the deal with Carp and FP. They're ok but sometimes I just watch with the sound down because I get tired of their voices.

I do like Carp and FP.    I do like givin' 'em crap as well.    If Dave was on TV all the time, I'd give him crap.     :)

I can't believe I fell asleep right at the beginning of this game and missed the whole thing.  Of all games... weak :(

It's OK. Boring game.  Only one run and just a few hits.

I love my job because I get to talk w/ players immediately after they do special things. Not gonna lie - I almost choked up during this one.

Here's my interview with Gio Gonzalez after his near no-hitter on his good friend [the anniversary of the late] Jose Fernandez's [25th] birthday.
