With The Chief's blessing, I sent this message to the Nationals media relations department just now.  I will update the thread with their response, if any...

The Washington Nationals (internet) Fan Forum (wnff.net) is conducting a member get-together at the Park on September 30th at 5:05 pm.
Members include local SPH, as well as folks from various US states and Canadian provinces.  We project several dozen in total attendance on this evening.
We plan to meet in the Bud Light Loft, and would like to temporarily place our WNFF 2'x4' vinyl banner in an area that would allow members to easily locate the rest of the group in the crowd.  There is a small seating area to the right of the bar as you look at the Loft from center field, and thought that an appropriate location.  We wonder if you can help with some specific suggestions?
If this is not the correct department, please pass this request along for further attention.
Also, we wondered if Johnny and Ray would be available to make a brief appearance / photo op with the members...either on their set or in the loft?
Thanks,
VaRK

I got a response from the Nationals this morning:

Hello -

Thank you for your interest in hosting your event at Nationals Park! Could you provide us more details on the type of event you’re considering? We look forward to working with you.

Thanks!

Not sure how much more I can tell them...any thoughts?

KEEP IT CLEAN.

I wish I could be there...  that sounds like a great time.  Do you do it every year, or only when we make the playoffs?

Oh...   do they sell Alpine in the Bud Light Loft?   8)

You could be there...and with free tickets...

Hopefully, this will become an annual event.  We tried to pull this off last year, but there was a general lack of interest.  I think Skippy being there may have been the catalyst this year.  She'll have to come every year now...  ;)

blue911 mentioned he might stop by.    I told him hang over in the corner and listen in.    If you like what's goin' on, jump in.    If not, just stand there.    Those who know who you are will act like we don't know you.    No pressure.

Dayum, I didn't know skippy was comin'.     I may hang out with blue911.     :)

Even though Vark tried organizing this without a Nats playoff standing, making the playoffs sounds like one (of many) good reasons to tell Nats Mgmt.

Another reason could be we fans hope it's not the last time we see Jason Werth, for he's been a positive effect in the Nats rise.

Another reason is to stick it to some obnoxious O's fans who claim O's fans are more dedicated than Nats fans.

Another reason is to show other Nats fans there has been a community formed from random Nats fans that provide much support to each other.

Genius Mitlen.  Anyone who knows Blue is going to do their best not to start the conversation up.   Cause there's the posting Blue, 7 words, max;  Then there's the conversational Blue, 7 paragraphs min.
