Of course not, I'm making the point that those studies have no meaning, particularly at Nats Park.

Based on what I've seen at the few parks I've visited Nats fans are paying more on average. I have no hard numbers on this but it's not an outrageous statement to say that prices in DC are higher than most of the rest of the country.

That's disappointing given the excellent product.

It's to be expected in a market that had no team for over 30 years (a period of time when attendance and many aspects of fan engagement grew exponentially, mind you).

I'm wondering if this might change if the team finally manages to win a championship, but only time will tell.

For the parks that I have been to, the Nats seem about average. They all gouge you to the fullest extent possible. I remember how everyone is lauding the Falcons for having cheap food at their new stadium. Which is hilarious. They would charge more if they could. This is a city that had empty seats for playoff games. They can’t charge more. If people stopped going to see the Nats, I bet prices would go down as well.

Prices inside the ballpark don't always reflect those outside. Oakland, ChiSox, St Louis, etc.

Everyone is paying more than those studies since those studies are minimums but based on 22 parks I've visited, Nats prices are pretty average.

It wasn't even a baseball thing necessarily for me though I did tire of the "standard decisions".   I ain't that smart.    But when a man allows himself to be referred to as the Big Marine (with no background), it gives me the heebie jeebies.
