Lobes smashed that - any stadium, any atmospheric pressure, that's gone.

This team is scary scary good. What an absolute display of emphatic power. Brewers can brag about the shut out and roughing up Edwin Jackson, but since the 6th inning last night, the Nats have bombed them worse than the Allies bombed Dresden.

23 runs, Carp?

Only if they bring in a position player to pitch.

Suddenly doesn't seem that crazy...

Brian Goodwin is quietly putting together a 2011 Danny Espinosa type season.

ha he came back and explained it, it was his comment about "that wouldn't happen back in my day" I was like what wouldn't happen, people hitting a lot of home runs? Were the pitchers so much better or something? but then he said the pitchers wouldn't let the batters be so comfortable, made sense.

Don't need a bullpen. Get another starter.

FP is full of crap. Getting fired up isn't going to help you hit better.

FP nailed it again. The jet lag from the west coast trip wore off late last night. It's always the travel. Good or bad.

I thought it was funny that in discussing home runs and the 49 Phillies he mentioned Richie Ashburn. A guy who almost never hit home runs. He did get Del Ennis. More likely Eddie Waitkus (who lived down the street) and Puddinhead Jones.
