Just a random thought. Nats are 12-0 with Difo in then #2 spot. I can't remember where to attribute that.

That's the 6th time in mlb history that a team has hit 5 bombs in one inning (ties another record).

I wonder how many of them had a power hitter like Adam Lind up next?

Just a guess but I'd say Aaron and Mantle were part of two.

I am a little glad Murphy didn't hit the homer. This is the only game I am not attending in person this week. I'd have been sick to miss something that had never occurred in the history of baseball.

Thanks spider.   '61 Barves and '61 Giants used to piss me off.

It's a shame we have to waste Max in this thing.

Not the 5 homers in 1 inning but Aaron was part of the first time 4 consecutive bombs were hit.

'64 and '66 Twins: core of that team from our 1960 Washington Senators. If they had only stayed in Washington!

I saw B2B2B2B homers in a AAA game once. Bob Hamelin, 1994 AL ROY was one of 'em.

Nats are messing up everyone's scorebook. Max and Goodwin again? Only one out?

I'm not sure "dipping" for the base actually helps, Max.

Nats just hit more homers in that inning than the Giants have since the All-Star Break.
