So did I...likely more so than any other stat...

Thinking that Royce will lead the league in Homers and RBI, and that Murphy will tank on his BA to allow Royce to win the triple crown is just dumb...

I think it was primarily due to who the Buccos had ... Dick Groat, Mota, Alou, Clemente', etc.

First real memory I had of watching it closely was when Dick Allen was in the race. Nellie Fox was always right around .300...
