FP keeps claimin' he was a batting coach.

Just wait. There's a banner on the FirstDC building going up across from Nats Park that says "Bob & FP * 2020"

I wonder how the negotiations went down for the new food vendor at the park called "See You Tater." Carp had to get a cut, I bet.

Still need more runs with this pen. A seven run lead is not enough.

I agree with you, minus the ROFL part.  It's a very serious statement.

I'll say this about the Nats....  they lost their leadoff and #2 hitters long term, as well as the backup #2 hitter (Werth) and the offense still chugs along somehow.

Did that hurt? You know, saying something positive?

I know he wants to rest players but a lineup like this on a day like this seems to me like it's a big freak you to the fans METS.

Boys need to tack on another run to get Ross his usual 9.8 runs of support.

And give our bullpen a fighting chance...

I guess Ross is going for the golden sombrero to cap his day. Good for him...it certainly didn't look like he'd be hitting for himself in the 7th the way things were going earlier.

It gave me a headache, and my left eye is twitching now.

Dusty conceded this game the moment those scrambled senile thoughts came together to dream up this lineup. What a dick.
Agreed...

The Boss, Joe Ross

Pitchers    IP   H   R   ER   BB   SO   HR   Pitch Count-Strikes
Joe Ross   7.0   8   2      2       3       6      2        114-77 & Done
S.  Lugo    5.0  10  6      6       2       3      0          74-46 & Done

Joe Ross' ERA now lowered to 4.86. He is doing more than a #5 pitcher can be expected to do for most teams.
