Justin Maxwell at home in Olney? Or is he still playing? (It doesn't look like he's played since 2016.)

Ryan Church was one of the people cutting the ribbon to Fanfest with Muriel Bowser last week.

Still cruising StubHub a few times each day, waiting for ticket prices to collapse. Market right now seems to be $350ish for upper deck.

Yeah, me, too.  Waiting for PNC to get below $1200  :hysterical:

The Future's Game and Celebrity softball game were much more enjoyable than I suspected. First of all, attendance was better than I thought it would be. I suspect there were maybe 30K in the house.

As for the Future's game, I took my son and his friends and they were college players and not much older than the guys on the field. They really knew the players. Just to see some serious flamethrowers (one pitcher was sitting at 102) and bombs being hit all over the field was something. It might be interesting to read some evaluations or thoughts about the players from watching them at that game. Don't look for that from me. ;)

And the softball game was just funny. Jamie Foxx was worth the price of admission by himself.

I thought it was really enjoyable. Lots of good prospects and good play in the Futures game. I thought the most impressive was Reds prospect Hunter Greene. He threw 11 straight pitches over 100 mph. (And still gave up a home run).

Yeah, Hunter Greene was the kids who was really bringing it. Sat at 102 and hit 103. First batter he faced crushed a HR off him. Shows you it's not just about velocity.

Later, a Mets prospect (playing 1B) hit a ball almost to the LF plaza area. About as far as I've seen to that part of the park.

I didn't go to that event, just stumbled into a news recap.

Wonder if Ryan still reads the forums.

Be aware the the SPH discount that you usually get on your NatsPlus cards is not available during ASG activities. The cards work and so do the e-cash lines but no discount.

Weren’t we promised a program as part of buying a strip?  Has anyone gotten theirs?  I have the feeling there were other benefits we were promised that I haven’t gotten either, but I can’t remember what t all. On field experience?

Thanks. I’ll have to follow up with my rep. I’m pretty annoyed how something always seems to be missing. Great night at the park though!

FWIW, the lines were really short at the concessions last night. Everyone was watching the derby. Maybe it will be the same for the game tonight but who knows.

I thought we were offered a jersey and a pin, too, if you renewed for multiple years?

I asked my rep about the replica jersey and he said it would be distributed in August. Not much fun for now but they do have some sort to f to lan. I assume this applies to the other items as well (except the program - we got ours last week).

If anyone uses CLEAR for bypassing the lines at the airport. They will have a kiosk at the game at the 3rd base gate to allow you to bypass the lines entering the stadium. I have this and it's great for skipping the line at the airport (i now basically show up at the airport like 10 minutes prior to boarding) and I am looking forward to checking it out tonight.

Give them hell.

The q & a sessions tend to be boring at these things. Norhing you don’t hear in the media.
