This strip business is part of why there was no Alumni game when the Caps hosted the Winter Classic.  Teddy wanted to force STH to buy both the Classic and Alumni games (they may have even wanted to throw a Hershey game in there), but Flyers STH had just won or launched a Class Action Lawsuit against the owners for doing that:
