I don't think you bring it up at the world series parade; probably they should have moved on from him before the season started.  Obviously Arrieta was at fault for the stolen bases but no reason to throw him under the bus to the media.  It's kind of fun to see them imploding while their genius manager seems unable to do anything.

I could be wrong, but I thought he said that in response to the implication from Maddon that it was because it was his arm. That being said I imagine there is no love lost. Probably time for him to go. And you're right. Probably best to keep it behind closed doors.

That's because for RBI's sake it is considered a fielder's choice. It doesn't improve his OBP.

I know. I was just being a crap.

But they did do something, they dfa'd him the next day, you know that thing we didn't do but should have after our closer tried to strangle a teammate in the dugout.

Does anyone know why Yahoo Fantasy App gave me an injury notification saying saying Strasburg is now Day-To-Day?

She was hot stuff back in the day. Also had the first charting rap song w/ Rapture.
did Rapture precede Rapper's Delight (Sugar Hill Gang, IIRC)?

He had back spasms while pitching last night, started in the 4th and he gutted through it. Pitched incredibly well, considering he was hurting.   Dusty said he wasn't too concerned about it, so expect a lengthy DL stint.   The positive side is that hopefully and likely this keeps him from pitching in the All-Star Game.

Stras is blaming his back spasms on his poor posture sittin on the bench during Nats at-bats lol. Gave me flashbacks to my mom yelling at 8-year-old me to stand up straight, for the love of god and all that's holy.

:lmao:

I really don't want ANY of our pitchers pitching in that game, but Gio does deserve to be picked.  He'd have about 11 or 12 wins if our bullpen wasn't so terrible.
