Was Radford a women's school at one time?
Not sure; you may be right.  I know my son said they had good parties there.

Had to work late, figured it would be all over but for the weeping by now.  Not bad.

I will give Cubs fans credit for swarming the joint even when the team was utter shiyte.  There's less blue in the stands than I expected...maybe they're all in the concourses recharging their kielbasa-destroyers

Radford went coed in 1972...

The institution now known as Radford University was founded by the Virginia General Assembly in the spring of 1910. The State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Radford grew out of a late nineteenth-century effort to expand Virginia's public school system and prepare a sufficient number of teachers.

Womens' schools have strange parties.  If you get stuck on campus afterwards things get really interesting.  Kind of Walking Deadish.

Thanks.    I get Longwood and Radford confused.

I can relate.     Been there.    Done that.

My son gave me a tee shirt with the old man's version:

Been there.
Done that.
Can't remember.

FP just mentioned Vladimir Guerrero, I believe this is his first year of HoF eligibility, does anyone here think he is not a HoF'er?

Seriously good numbers over a 16 year career.  Was he ever connected to PED's?

Just like the Nats to fix the Cubs pitching woes, and from a guy from one of the craptiest towns I've ever been in.

This is the most Gio start ever. Good lineup, leaves without a lot of runs, but a lot of free baserunners and shaky command, and I was on the verge of crapting myself the entire time thinking the game would be broken open.
