A worse player overall. I don't know if it will make him worse at plate. It is not outside the realm of possibility however. I don't think it will make him better at the plate.

Was this game really that bad? Roark had a terrible 1st inning, but generally pitched well after that. And the bullpen pitched 3 scoreless and didn't walk anyone.  And it's not like this was a blowout. The game was a 4 run game for most of the afternoon.
