KV brough it up in the Game Thread, but Goodwin has 4 homers in 58 at bats this season. Taylor had a torrid couple of weeks, but seems to have regressed to what he is at this point.
So, with Werth coming back soon, who should be the every day CFer?
Brian Goodwin: .271/.323./576 with four homers, 22% strikeout rate, 7.9% walk rate, 1 SB
Michael Taylor: .261/.296/.449 with six home runs, 32% strikeout rate, 4.8% walk rate, 4 SB
Defensively, there isn't much to go on for Goodwin, as he hasn't played much CF at the major league level. Still, he has spent significant time in CF in the minors and is likely athletic enough to play CF.
Taylor has played pretty well in CF. I think defensively he is better, but not by a whole lot.
Who you got? When Werth comes back, who should be the every day CFer? Or should they be platooned?
