I'm sad he won't be there when we play the Angels. Will miss those swings and misses.

I'll miss some extravagant facial hair.

It always seemed weird they picked him up as a second baseman.   The only way he'd work is a defense first short stop burned in the 8th spot in the NL.

I bet the guys in the pen are saddest he is gone because they probably thought that was one easy out

They were desperate. They still are as far as I could work out from the interviews with Scioscia.

Wonder what they'd give us for Difo?

Think they're done with switch-hitting Nationals' middle infielders for good after that mess.

They're closer to the wild card than the Orioles.

If there is any question about any sort of success for that bunch of pilferers getting to the post season the Nats should be all in trying to help someone keep them out. So long as it's not the Yankees. Or the Red Sox.

He's been released! Go get him Rizzo!

Before you jump on me, hear me out.

Drew and Difo are already up and playing well.

Turner isn't back yet.

Sánchez is the next best guy. Him and Green.

We're a twisted ankle or an inside pitch away from trouble, and Drew is fragile. Let's stash Espinosa in AAA just in case.

Given how hard-headed Espinosa is, I wonder if he'd sign for a AAA assignment. (Not that I'd sign him. I wouldn't.)

Broke the news to the missus today that Espinosa's gone to Korea.    She sez, "Oh no."    I'm not sure she even knows he left the Nats.     I didn't follow up.

Espinosa is a Mariner now. Big league, not minors.
