Today was my first day swimming for the summer of 2017. I'm always reminded on the first day that the water is undefeated. I am so beat down that I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it to first pitch. That has never happened to me before.

I wanted to hit our local pool today but school's not out so they don't open til 4 PM.    That's about the time the thunder storm rolled through.    You think it's bad after a swim.    Wait 'til takin' a shower wears you out.

Yeah same here but I know the lifeguard so she let me go in a little early to get my swim in before the storm hit.

One result from swimming is that I'm always hungry. I've eaten 2 huge meals since I swam (I ate 30 minutes ago) and I'm already starving.

Now that I'm retired, I turn the heat up in the winter, the AC down in the summer and I shower as often as I want.    I'm a water fan.
