Chief and/or Lawyers:

Do comments (phrases) coined on this site fall within the copyright laws?     If those phrases are used in other forums or comments sections of newspapers without accreditation, can we sue 'em for stealin' our ideas?     And no, it's not FP.     :)

I was readin' a comment on another site this morning and I swear, it was word for word to what I've seen here  .....   long ago.   It wasn't something that would float about in the common world.      Now, either it's the same person or somebody's liftin' our work and posting it as original.

Well, powerboater submits to several sites, and I'll occasionally post a question on FG that's a line I've been arguing.  honestly, IP and copyright is an area I know next to nothing about.

Mindfact on my part, but I don't think there would be any recourse if you used that phrase in other places, though maybe you'd have to explain it's meaning if you used it somewhere else...

That's what caught my attention.    I'm figurin' the poster on the other site would have no idea how to use the phrase in context, nay even know the phrase,  unless he/she was a visitor to WNFF.

Few things piss me off more than people who steal others' ideas and pass them off as their own.    Probably began when I found out about Milton Berle.    :)

I prefer to call it "popularize".

I don't hate anything or anybody.    Pissed off is a different concept.
