4 for Bryce and 6 for Strickland.
Both are divisible by 2, so after appeals, they'll be reduced to 2 for Bryce and 3 for Sickland.

So we lose Harper for 4 games and the Giants lose Strickland for, what?  4 or 5 innings?

not even that many innings since he wouldn't pitch every day.

Harper should play tonight and drop the appeal after that and just miss the Oakland series.

I won't be surprised if they keep the appeal open and he does his time back at home against the Barves, that series is only 2 weeks away and I think the appeals usually take longer.

Can they wait until he gets injured to drop the appeal?

I think you can do that only if injury is short enough not to require a DL stint.

My riddle is/was   ...  if Royce doesn't charge the mound, does Strickland get thrown out of the game?    It appeared everyone was gonna let it go until Royce charged the mound.     Buster even let it go after Royce charged the mound.

That'd be a good series.

probably not but that would nothing but reinforce the stupid "unwritten" rules and they would say that Harper took his "medicine" for "showing up the pitcher by admiring his work" and that the game had policed itself. :smh:

4 games was worth it. Gotta send a message to the rest of the league.

I feel like he wasted the charge. Now they know he won't do it again. Should have stopped halfway. Strickland did end up looking like a fool though.
