Most people don't even know what a balk is. :stir:

Doesn't appear the umps do either.

He's turned the corner.

He hit that one hard.

The 2 errors may cost him cutting this outing short by an inning.

We need more than one run with this bullpen.

I'm waiting until we lose a run because someone doesn't touch a base on a home run trot. It's going to happen.

Is this guy's pitching legal? It seems like you could call a balk on every pitch.

FPs mentioned it  ...  particularly his move to first.

There's nothing wrong with his delivery.

The move to first is "iffy".    It's that 45 degree thing.

He got called for the 45 degree move a few years back against the Nationals in San Diego. De Rosa was on 1B and they called him for a balk. What people find odd is the quirky move with his left knee (and Strasburg has a little quirk in his right knee in his delivery that he sometimes does and sometimes doesn't) but as long as it's part of his "natural" delivery and he is consistent with it and he doesn't pause after moving his left knee then he's good.

Also, FP is full of crap. If Richard pitched for the Nationals he would praise him for such a good move to 1B. :smh:

It's like traveling in b'ball.     If they don't call balks on that hopper who used to pitch for the Barves then they ain't callin' it on anybody  ....   particularly if it's part of the delivery.

That wasn't a balk either. If he balked then every pitcher balks because no pitcher actually keeps his pivot foot on the rubber when he releases the baseball.
