Thanks for the heads-up. Acta is now Seattle's 3B coach. He was so happy for Ryan Zimmerman finally seeing the team in the playoffs. He praised Zim for being a class act, who never criticized the management during the bad years.

I got one of those rare Manny Acta bobbleheads, only available at The Big Train college game night, where Acta threw out the first pitch. He hung around for hours signing autographs, and lost his job shortly after that.

He was very gracious.

So tomorrow is federal workforce day at the park. I imagine they will be giving out RIF notices to any fed dumb enough to identify himself as such.

Maybe the Angels should convert 3Kespi into a pitcher like the Padres are doing to Christian Bethancourt?

and the 'tigers', I believe, with Anthony Gose (who hit 99 in his first appearance as a pitcher)..

The angels called someone up to play 2B but didn't DFA Espinosa. I read the comments on the article and angels fans are calling him Kspinosa and a black hole just like we did.

Yup, saw that as well. I always wonder with some of the Nats prospects if they would be better as pitchers. Taylor and Severino come to mind honestly.

When I see the pitchers name all I can think of is Pete Incaviglia.

Should have trolled on that article with smiley faces in Nats caps.

    Hopefully, I'll be makin' the turn around game time.    I might slide over to the course early and hope the starter can get me on the course between the raindrops.

3Kespi would insist on throwing left-handed. But he would continue to catch right-handed, so he'd need an ambidextrous switcher's glove.

Speaking of that glove, where is Pat Venditte?

Holy crap, 62 pitches in the 6th after giving up 5 runs. That's crazy.

Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste I'm sittin' here and I smell something burnin'.    I look downstairs.   Check the kitchen and then head upstairs.    Turns out my bedroom window is open and the neighbor's makin' coal on his grill.     He calls it "cookin' out".

We went through a cold spell at the plate last night as well.
