Anyone know when gates open? Any tips on when it is best to arrive? Thanks for your time!

3 pm yesterday probably, if the following thread/mess is an indication: http://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=35193.0.

That was a unique situation because of the previous half of the doubleheader concentrating all the fans. And even then my wife got a bobblehead arriving after first pitch. I'd say and hour early should be good.

According to the Nats website, gates open 2 hours before gametime. According to publicity from the Nationals, gates open 1.5 hours before gametime.

22K snowglobes. I'd get there no later than 6:00.

Gates open 2 hours before first pitch. The concourse opens 90 minutes before. So you can go in the gates and hang out in the CF plaza, bud loft, etc a half hour before you can go everywhere.

On a chilly gloomy school night against a less-well-known opponent, 6:00 should be fine, 6:30 probably starting to get a bit risky.

So right now they're giving out a ticket to get the snowglobe at a later time, correct? Not the actual snowglobe?

They had just run out at the entrance near the Goose Island bar, at around 6:45. We were walking by and seeing people frowning and staff with empty boxes.

Didn't look like there was more than 25K total there last night. About half left early, which was surprising since it wasn't that cold and the game was one of the shortest of the year. It was nice seeing the last out and getting home before ten.

Can't think of a more docile visiting fanbase than the Mariners. Philly idiots? You get your projectile as you leave the park.
