If you're right we've solved a huge problem for next year.

If he's right, it almost makes the Eaton injury worth it. That's a really big "almost". But MAT being good is huge for the franchise. I know everyone will tell me it won't last. But we are approaching a month.

It would be huge because our OF for next season would be set. But that's fool's gold.

Now seems a good time to remind people that we had a player put up a .309/.418/.704 with 9 HR and 21 RBI in a month last year, and that player was Danny Espinosa.  Let's maybe wait a bit to be sure it's not just a hot streak before getting too excited (like hinting that he might actually be good).

Zim out for season because of that throw.

If you need to have a confidence-building start, a good circumstance for that is against a bad team that has just flown cross-country after getting pummeled at home 2 days in a row.

Since I'm not making decisions for the team and it's more fun, I'm going to get a little excited. 😉

So the Mariners are a beer-goggles rebound night?  Oof.

(for those who have ever done such a thing)

Is it better to let get Ross get more confidence, but maybe get tired, or maybe let the bullpen work thru some pitches in a game that would be very difficult to blow?

I want everyone in the bullpen to be sitting down. Dusty is wearing them out.
