We covered a lot of turf   ....  he's 6 months younger, vets, American Bandstand, Eagles, Connie Mack Stadium, Penn Relays, PA Turnpike, Oakmont, Chamberlain, Warriors, George McGinnis, Palestra, Big Five, Robin Roberts, etc.

BTW  We got stuck on the name of the old PA announcer for the Warriors/Sixers.

Dave Zinkoff, known as 'The Zink,' was the announcer for the Philadelphia Warriors when the NBA was formed in 1946. He announced Warriors games until 1962, and in 1963 began announcing for the Philadelphia 76ers, which had been formed from the Syracuse Nets.

Sending Gio back out is retarded.

Gio has been pitching the entire game with his LEFT hand, to lull the Barves into a false sense of superiority...

it's pretty great to have a catcher who can field throws from the outfield

Baseball is one of the few things where I don't believe "The devil you know is better than the one you don't". Who knows, Albers or Grace may come out looking like Randy Johnson. Not likely, but Gio had nothing and he's lucky he didn't give up a run there and that was totally foreseeable.

And we are playing the Atlanta Barves, who suck big time...

For a second there, Shawn Kelley's set position looked like Storen's.

Is anyone behind home plate even watching the game?  Sheesh.

I'd give my left nut to sit there.
