We would have won this game if we hadn't run out of Red Bull...

And they've had 3 days off in that time. Of course FP will flip it and say that's the reason for their lack of focus.

No way they can get anything done with this bullpen.

Ennything is possible, but it doesn't look like it will ennd well with one specific member of the bullpenny.  Or, put the same way as to another one, the trein is clearly derailed.

At this point I'm willing to give Matt Grace some more run out there, and my posts about Grace probably would tell you how bad that is.  The corpse of Joe Nathan rotting in AAA couldn't be worse than this if you brought him up.  Look: our best reliever appears to be Fatt Albers.

Treinen be more positive. The team's Treinen really hard right now. I know I'm Treinen to keep the faith.

Yes, and I don't even know which reliever you're talking about - I'm pretty sure that statement applies to every single guy out there.

It sure seems like the act of being a Nats reliever, in itself, makes you suck. They will write books about this disaster.

I'm thinking that the Nats should engage in some psychological warfare with Nathan.  Instead of having him come out with a clean uniform and hat, clean shaven, etc... I think they should give him a tattered, blood stained uniform, a hat that appears to expose parts of his skull, have him come out of the pen dragging one leg, and have the sound track to a zombie movie playing as his entrance music.

Careful, they'd pretty quickly have him served up at the concessions stands if he came in looking like that; just leave him out on a DC rooftop for 2 hours or so and presto.  Artisanal, free-range, slow-cooked longpig; sesame seed bun; garlic aioli.  $11.
