Hope there is a bus idling outside Camden yards, bound for Syracuse....and boy, would it be full....

The one beyond it is for Harrisburg... and even that might be asking too much.

Sooo Rizzo... what's the plan?

He will blame the pitching coach, blame the manager, he will let this thing due before he admits his mistakes. The Nats are converting 67% of saves, that's beyond awful. This mess is all on Rizzo

The Greyhound terminal is just down the street. There's an early morning bus to Syracuse with an intermediate stop in Harrisburg.

If there isn't a bullpen shake up real soon they might as well punt the season away. The only thing they have going in their favor is that the rest of the division isn't strong.

Stevie Wonder could see this bullpen being crap from a mile away.

I don't get how they didn't light up Ubaldo. This was by far his best start of the season. He only made it past five innings in one previous start. No reason that the Nats shouldn't have scored more runs early on. Eaton must have really been the missing link this offense really needs as they've come crashing back to earth (minus the fluke 23-run game) since he went down.

I think they've got complacent. I would say Baker has a right to let some F-bombs go. No idea if a manager would do that to his team behind closed doors though!

Batting?
Bench players run the bases during BP. Working on leads, reading the ball off the bat, etc.

Ubaldo's stuff actually looked pretty good last night.  He was mostly hitting his spots and the fastball had pretty good movement on it.  I thought they did fine against him given what the stuff looked like, not the name on the jersey.

Might be a little off topic but with the new Automatic Intentional Walk there needs to be a clearer signal to the TV audience what is happening. Besides the on-screen graphic filling in first base in red. Bob and FP are usually too confused to let us know there has been a walk. On one AIW I heard Bob say something about there almost being two batters in the batter's box. Then I noticed whoever they said was about to bat was actually on First.

the manager should have to throw four balls onto the field.
