Given the early trends, this is league-wide. There are many players on pace to out slug last season's home run leaders. There are 13 players currently carrying an OPS over 1.000. So, maybe this is by design. If the players aren't juicing again, perhaps the ball is. Sure, things may cool off, but the summer humidity isn't even here yet, so it isn't beyond reason to expect the league to look more like the roid era is back.

Might be worth looking up average temperatures in each of the MLB cities this April and comparing it to historical trends. Washington was certainly warmer than normal for much of the month and that will help the ball fly a bit. Not saying there isn't some new wave of juicing, just adding another option. If offense ticks up even more during the summer, I'm more willing to think it's a new cream or clear the tests aren't catching.

Pace down to 882. They've also fallen behind the Yanks, Rox and Stros in runs scored. But only the Yanks have a higher RPG.

This year's edition of the Nats is starting to look like the 1987 Orioles (Cal Ripken Sr's one full year as manager, the year before they had their 54-107 annus horribilis with the 21-game losing streak)...the first team in MLB history to both hit and allow 200 home runs in a season.
