PowerBoater, Hope your having a good time in Cincy. This is the first time in the last 3 years I did not make it out there which is why they have won the first two games. My daughter's family moved back to DC area. I miss it but they are winning . BTW the best chili in Cincy in Mt. Washington is the Mt. Washington Tavern. Check out Moerlin's brewery by the river along with Montgomery bar b que. Want a good Cincy dive neighborhood bar there is The Bramble in Mariemount.......if you want to pay homage to Marge and Schotze take a drive through  Indian Hill.....that's all I got to say bout that

Great time, we're trying to get to all the good spots but running out of time. I have to do something I hate to do today, leave the game early, we're doing a family get together.

Been out in Cincy since September with a few trips every year before that as daughter is here. I don't know how anyone can really like the chili here. I tolerate it in a Coney.

Had a Moerlein lager at the park last night. Good stuff.

Cincy chili seems to be a love it or hate it...I like it.....never found a bad pizza joint out there and never found ice cream on the planet as good as Graders or Aglamesi's

But I  do know  the Nats are winning thanks to my non attendance

I do like the ice cream. Was going to have some at the game yesterday but the line was crazy long. And the pizza here is good. We like Dewey's.

Parked in Kentucky today at Newport on the Levee (where the aquarium is). Looks like it will be $5 to park. Easy walk across the river brought me to the entrance near the US Bank Arena. They had a memorial sign there for the fans killed at the Who concert in 1979. Had forgotten that was here.

Doin' my WKRP watchin' the other day and watched the episode about that tragedy.   I too had forgotten but it immediately came to mind when the show started.

Been to many Nats games in Cincy over the years...we always lose!  Of course this year when I'm in Cali we sweep 4.

Last year they were besides themselves after the Nats series thinking maybe the Reds are better than we thought.  I like the Reds and the city. May they win the rest of the way. May they trade us their closer

From Louisville but been on a Cali trip.  In Hollywood and going tomorrow.

I ran into a guy and his son from Louisville at the Sunday game in Cincy two years ago. At the concessions I think. We commiserated briefly about the series. Was that you? I think you guys both had Zimmerman shirts or jerseys. This year was sweet revenge. The only win over the last two years was the game Papelbon almost blew a big lead in the ninth.
