Going to be blustery today, winds blowing from the NW, I don't know how that effects the park.

Just got in from my 5 miler.    It's cold and windy.    I was wondering the same thing about the Bank's location.    Lookin' at google, looks like left field is in the NW part of the Park.

Pretty sure Velasquez mowed us down a couple times last year, this could be ugly if we're sticking with the "swing for the fences" approach.

I'm thinking about starting an over/under on how many times FP kvetches about the weather (wind) in the first inning.    So far:

Velasquez has great stuff, but is inconsistent. A lot like Edwin Jackson. Any given night he can wow you or get abused.

Last year was his first full year in MLB.  He started strong but slowed down which is not unusual for a youngin.  I believe he was shut down early also with arm problems.  He does have the best "stuff" of any phillies starter.
