Dang it just now noticed that my split image via my photobucket has gotten the dreaded Photobucket "Your account ain't FREE NO MORE" image. Crap. I really hope I can at least look at the images in my account still, I think some of them I only had up there. Dammit reminds me of when Yahoo got rid of their picture gallery "briefcase" or whatever it was back around 2007 or 8 when they dumped that. They say once something is on the internet it is the forever, that is everything but pictures you really want to keep forever.

Wow did some record tying in game 3 we did (WTH is Yoda doing here?) Goodwin, Difo, Harper and Zimmerman went back-to-back-to-back-to-back Homers Goodwin brought Scherzer home as a Birthday present. It ties the 4 Homer's Back-To-Back the Nats are now the 8th team to do that. Then two batters later Rendon Solo Homers tying the team record for 5 Homers in an inning.

You are welcome. It is mostly fun to do but sometimes a pain in the you know where and elsewhere. It is also pretty thankless. I get the occasional "thank you" like yours but for the most part it goes with no comments. I sometimes wonder if I didn't pick it up in '15 if it would have been continued by someone else?

Yeah. I still don't see how they managed to shut us out that first game. Looks like it was only the 3rd shut-out of the year, unfortunately all 3 have been this month of July.

Game 2 was a total blow-out collapse. Hightlight was Max getting his first career HR. Then things went South Max got neck spasms and took himself out of the game then the Marlins slowly came back and overtook us.

I don't reply normally to say thank you because I don't want to break the flow of the thread, but wanted to acknowledge the work and effort you put into this. A few weeks back you wondered if anyone would care if it stopped - I don't have the time to do this myself, but I would definitely miss it if gone.

It's great to be able to look at the first page of the thread and get a very fast sense of how we're playing the tough teams, what we've got left on the schedule, and who cleaned our clocks that shouldn't have done so.

Wow thanks I think that is the best response this thread has ever gotten. Glad you enjoy it. I try to keep it interesting and try to remember what needs to be updated here. Sometimes I forget to update how many games are left to play or to include the last series score on the front page. Fortunately I usually get around to remembering what I had forgotten before there is too much complaining.

OUCH! Bryce is Down.

In Saturday's game which was delayed until around 10:00 pm and went well into Sunday morning during the bottom of the first. His left foot/cleat slid across first base as he was trying to beat out the throw that would have beaten him anyway and his knee buckled. Latest news I just checked is being called a bruised bone. NO torn ACL or tendon or breaks. HE is on the 10 day DL will probably be out much longer than that. Well they won the game. It felt empty but a win nonetheless. OH and the last game, which was originally the first game went into extra innings tied at 2. Fortunately only till the 11th when Howie Kendrick hit a walk off grand salami making it a 6-2 win.

What a series. Good that we ended up winning it. Shows we can hang with the best of the AL. The final game I admit when Houston tied it up in the bottom 9th with only 1 out I shut things down I was tired so I called it quits and expecting a big disappointment in the morning. I should have stuck it out.
