17-7 after last night's 8-0 drubbing by the Barves.

Next scheduled game is Saturday vs. the Dodgers.

My annual goal is 30 games and I'm at 24. I have a shot if they have a deep playoff run. :mg:

4-4 or 4-5 after today, with 2 more games this homestand.
4-5 or 4-6.  I'm going to have to pick playoff games that are unlikely to be played just to avoid the mojo.

4-6 or 4-7.  That's awful.  Going to the Os on Monday and I hope I bring the locals similar luck.

I believe I am 4-4. Went to last nites drubbing of the Blue and wore the same hat and shirt for the third win in a row. Do not plan on changing attire for the PO's.

No. You can’t wash it! Those are the rules.

Does that negate the mojo? I think BS maybe correct. Should we start a poll and I will abide by the results.

Depends on what detergent you use.

Wash it in Mets Fan tears. That improves the mojo.

Depends on what detergent you use.

Simple rule. Never mess with a streak. If you have washed it after each time, wash it. If you didn't wash it, don't wash it.

4-5 and that's a wrap - not nice in a season wherein the Nats are winning 96 or more matches but that's how it is. Was planning on going to the Saturday and Sunday fixtures in this Pirates series (the 'Meet and Greet' night Saturday would have been my first prime-time fixture in person in three years) but this past weekend the pestilent, poisonous muck of politics crashed into our sports world like an out-of-control sewer main back-up, and I'm not kneeling or locking arms with anybody. I'm in it for the baseball, and that's that.

[at this writing, the ticket in TBSITH to Saturday's match is still available on StubHub]

...meanwhile, Charlie and Dave all the way for as long as the Nats stay alive in post-season, and let's hope for a less politicised matchday environment next season.

I was at the game. I didn’t notice anything political. Did I miss something?

I wasn't there either (a seat-mate had bought my Thursday/Friday tickets quite some time ago but I had held on to the Friday/Saturday ones), but figured that, now that the protest movement has reached MLB and other leagues besides the NFL, it was just a matter of time. DC is rather a political town, one must remember.

I think I’m 21-8 at home, 2-1 Road, 2-4 PNats but I forgot to check in a couple times on the app so who knows for sure. Going tonight and Sunday.

As for the politics, DC needs more protests, not less, even if it invades our “safe spaces” like ballparks.
