This season they have the 3rd best record in the AL, are 2nd in their division, and are the 1st wildcard team 2.5 games clear of 3rd place. They have outscored teams by 37 runs, which is 2nd best in baseball.
Now, if they fade by July I agree they might try to move assets. But the seasons aren't remotely similar right now and if the Yankees are legitimately in the playoff hunt there's no way they're moving assets.
