Beautiful at the Park right now...

One line of storms headin' through MD and VA.    Not sure if it'll hit DC.    Movin' pretty quickly.

WTOP indicates isolated T-storms at 7 PM but it looks good throughout the night.    I'd go with AtBC's advice.      :couch:

Maybe Nats should've built a roof.

Severe storm watch in Montgomery, MD and Loudoun, VA til 7:15 PM.    Not sure how far south it's goin.    May skid north of the Park.

Game delayed...

Gives you more time to buy food and drink and support the Lerners.

At the park and the crowd seems to be resigned to it for now.

I learned my lesson last night. Having a couple of beers and food at Due South. Much better than waiting in ballpark. If no word by the time I’m done, I’ll go home. And cheaper than eating and drinking at park.

Great approach. But I never saw this delay coming. at Norfolk southern club. Someone else is buying because I have the tix.

Looking good for the upcoming homestand...weather.com calling for no higher than 20% chance of precip (and in many cases nil) all through the Mets and Marlins series.

Tomorrow looks like a washout.

Within the realm of possibility: weather.com is currently calling for 75% chance of rain at first pitch (with percentages at that level or higher all day today), but chances are falling to 35% at 20.00 and 15% at 22.00 (continuing at that level for some hours thereafter). With the Marlins still very much in the wild card hunt (4 1/2 out through yesterday's results - Rockies lost yesterday) they'll try to squeeze this one in even if it goes into the wee hours.

Anyone else think they call this one off early and change tomorrow's 4:05 start time so they can get in a day/night split double header?

Traditional doubleheader.  There's really no choice.  Lot's of people are going to be furious about having to travel to the game only to wait three hours before it's postponed.  Lot's of people are going to be pissed if they change the time tomorrow to 1, only because they are too cheap to schedule a traditional doubleheader, when many of tomorrow's ticket holders bought this game because they like the 4pm start time and cannot make it to a 1pm game.
