I don't think I can survive another night without a ballgame.

Spots of blue here in western Oakton, and no rain.

We've got some brewpubs popping up around here lately.

Not aware of anything in that area. We have Caboose in Vienna.  You have more out your way, right?  Ocelot, Lost Rhino, Old Ox.  I haven't tried Aslin, that's not too far for me.  And the venerable Dogfish Head is close for me.

Why?  It's most likely not going to rain for two hours, in which time they can get 5 inning in.  So they delay it 45 minutes, what do they expect to accomplish during that time, other than increase the probability that they will not get the game in.

Pee Wee was just interviewing someone discussing possible trades.  I didn't catch the guys name or who he was (journalist, scout, etc.) and I'm sure I've never seen him before. He seemed quite articulate.  Anyone catch who he was?

You posted this:

To which I replied:

You then misquoted me as follows:

You are ignoring this user. Show me the post.

Please note that I did not post what you have quoted me as saying.  It looks like you had me on ignore and compounded the issue by typing "Show me the post" within the quote marks.

You then became confused by your own misquote:

Seriously Tom, what the hell does this mean?

To which I replied:

It means you have me on iggy you mo'.

Which I would think most WNFF'ers would interpret as "It means you have me on ignore, you moron".  I was trying to make a bit more gentle.    But, it appears I am the one at fault for your misquote of me and subsequent misunderstanding.

I have no idea what that means.  Have you gone loony?

I have gone loony?

(At some point when you were reading one of Tom's tweets, you accidentally put him on ignore. It happens. The little button is in the lower right corner of every post.)

Thanks. I don't even have any idea what ignore means, but I suppose it means I have missed his posts for the past couple months because ever post said "You are ignoring this user. Show me the post."

But back to business ... did it actually rain the past three hours?  I have been periodically checking the masn channel and there has been a football game the whole time. Meanwhile, I have been watching episodes of Twilight Zone we taped from the July 4 marathon.  Now, at 10pm, they say they are ready to start the game.  And there is no way I can stay awake another hour much less 3 or 4. Was this 3 hour delay really necessary?
