I feel like I won with that postponement. Delta Club for $90. Ate and drank for two hours.  Repeat on June 8. And it's a 7 pm game, not any 1 pm BS. Or maybe resell the game. Thanks to the folks who advised me to buy.

That right there is the only good thing to happen in the last 26 hours.

The rain actually stopped close to the scheduled first pitch. It's a unclear to me why they didn't either postpone it earlier or just play the game.

spidernat had it right earlier:
Sell as much beer and other concessions as possible before calling the game.

Not looking good for Friday.  Wunderground has a 64% chance of rain at 7 PM, increasing throughout the night.  We might get a double-header on Saturday.

Not looking promising right now on weather.com either - 75% chance of rain at first pitch, increasing to 95% from 21.00.

I'm probably going to take a big bath on my tickets for tonight. They were bought via StubHub. When tonight's game is postponed for Saturday at noon (a time I can't make), I'll have no choice but to resell on SH for probably significantly less than I paid.

I don't think StubHub will let you resell in this case.  Not sure, but I think that's one of the restrictions they put in place last year.

Is that the plan, Saturday noon for tonight's game?

Monday's an off day for both teams, so that could be an option as well.

I think a day / night separate admission would be chancey for Saturday.  It is supposed to clear in the afternoon, but you could run into a delay.  Seems Monday day game would make more sense.

Could also push it back to 9/10, making that day a double header but leaving the 9/11 off-day intact for both teams. Or do as they did with a rainout a year or two ago (I forget the opponent) and leave it TBD or pencil it in for the Monday after the last game of the regular season, and skip it if the outcome doesn't affect the standings.

Not looking promising for tonight since weather.com is still showing 90-100% chance of rain/showers from first pitch through normal match time. However, the precip chance drops below 50% from 11.00 midday tomorrow and stays below that all the rest of Saturday and Sunday, so a doubleheader (either 'traditional' or two-separate=admission) may prove doable.

Odd to have four of our six series against the division-rival Phillies completed by Mothers' Day (Charlie & Dave have noted this on the radio broadcasts).

I just got an email from StubHub saying that since the game was rescheduled, I am allowed to resell my tickets. But I won't, because I can make Sunday night.

Me too, though not sure who I'm going with yet.   I was going to take my daughter this evening but Sunday is a school night.

Let me know if you're interested in a pre-game strategy session up in the Loft.

Aren't they going to empty out the park after the 1:30 game?

I'm leaving the country in a couple days for several weeks so I wanted an overdose of baseball before departing. Two straight days rained out isn't helping.

Does anyone know how parking works if you go to both games of doubleheader? We usually park in lot H/I and I'm assuming we'll have to buy two separate passes, correct? Will we then have to exit and reenter the lot?  Would prefer to hang around the stadium neighborhood in between games without having to worry about moving the car

So looking at the forecast there is like very little chance this game gets finished.

I'm going to toast the tarp for a couple of hours before shuffling off quietly into the darkness.
