New owners were probably hopin' it wouldn't be.     :)

Was hoping hurricane damage would improve it.

That's probably what it will take to get rid of the crap they have outside of Nationals Park.

At least they moved those things to the home plate entrance.    No one uses that entrance   ....  'cept me and you.

The Mets are going to start Syndergarrad for one inning and then bring in Matt Harvey.

I mean, they must hate having pitchers

Does anyone know?    Is it an incentive thing?    A confidence thing?     One for the fans?

It’s  the most Mets thing ever.

Syndergaard threw four pitches in the first inning.  We were sure he was going to come out for the second.  Didn't make sense.

Five, but yeah. It would see the Mets saw how the Braves freaked up all those arms in the 2010-2014 time period and were like, "hold my beer"

I think almost all their pitchers are going to be hurt this year too.  Harvey's already having problems.

Clairvoyant post of the year...

Five,

Two pitches to Turner (out).   Next two batters hit the first pitch, a hit then a double play.  If there was another pitch, I missed it.

Phillies are getting rid of Pete Mackanin. It's possible every team in the division will have a new manager next season.

Sacrificial lamb. Stubborn athletes who don't know when to stop being stubborn combined with discarding conventional wisdom on pitch counts and innings limits is what caused the Mets problems this year.
