They wont hold up for the whole year. they pushed Syndergaard back a day.
The Mets have been amazing in their ability to find quality starting pitching. Biggest issue for them are the bats.

http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2017/04/06/ryan-howard-minor-league-braves/

Former Phillie Ryan Howard signs a minor league deal with Atlanta.  Will report to extended spring training.

Interesting spot.  Not only is it an NL team, but one with lefty Freddie Freeman manning 1B.

This is purely a bench role for him. The Braves have nothing coming off the bench with any sort of power threat.

The Ghost of MVP Ryan Howard? Maybe that will help them get 4th place instead of 5th.

I would take Matt Kemp in LF over Jayson Werth.

Mets leading early. If they win will be a four way tie for first.  With the Barves lagging behind. This was the parity Pete Rozelle always wanted.

Nats and Mets will be close for a few weeks then the Nats will run away with it.  Mets have too many holes.

Mets in 4th place now.

Saw a few fb rants from mets fan friends saying they did nothing in the of season to fix their many problems.
