i'm worried about Zimmerman, but then again, didn't he tear the cover off the ball last Spring?

He's clearly not being hampered with that this year...

Couple of original thinkers.

@DTBL_Kevin Tim Tebow has more hits than Ryan Zimmerman this spring.  #Nationals #Mets

@dcuniverse  Wow. In other shocking spring baseball news, Tim Tebow has more hits than Ryan Zimmerman.

Quote is from the Sports Bog from last August. Ironic in retrospect now that they are locked into a battle to see which one wins a roster spot.

only so many bullets in that gun, and he used them all up before the regular season.

It's sad to see Zimmerman like this.

100 - 150 ABS, relax everyone.  I'm confident he can still swing that canoe paddle.

He was almost the worst hitter in MLB last year and he plays a position where you are supposed to bash. The Nats probably will give him 150 at bats, but only because of his contract. If he had the same deal as Norris he'd be waived too.

Sign Nate Freiman!  And Jason Marquis!  And Ryan Lavarnway! (they aren't going to be playing next weekend).

Zimmerman is in the line up today, I predict that he retakes the lead in his first at bat.

TT also getting the start! Only thing that stinks is that the Nats play the Mets tomorrow, would have been great to have a head to head match up.

Lets talk value  ...  baseball numbers are similar.     What do the contracts call for in payment and what's guaranteed?    Who's the better value?      :couch:

A hit, a hit, a hit! Zim surges into the lead, beating out a grounder to third.

While that is absolutely true, I'd agree that we'd be better off with Espi.
