A hit, a hit, a hit! Zim surges into the lead, beating out a grounder to third.

Scored a run too!

HE'S ON FIRE!!!!

Holy crap, that didn't last long, TT beat out a grounder to short and took the lead right back.

Worst thread ever.

Suddenly spring training stats do matter, neither of these guys wants to lose.

Sign Nate Freiman!  And Jason Marquis!  And Ryan Lavarnway! (they aren't going to be playing next weekend).
Too esoteric for most. Marquis was the give away.

Zim unable to build on his momentum, grounds out to the pitcher.

What are you going to do when Tebow is sent to the minor League camp?  Have to just stick with the Mendoza line.

Only MLB spring plate appearances count, when the contestants get sent down their final number is frozen.

It'll take a hell of a run for him to challenge the Mendoza line

TT with a productive out, advanced two runners, but doesn't help his OBP.

Zim is done, Tebow is probably done. What a day, two hits each!

A double for the Z man!!!

The right fielder dropped the ball...Zimm had already stopped between first and second thinking it had been caught.

Don't ask me to explain him beating out an infield ground ball in the second inning...I would have asked for a replay challenge on that one...

We have an eyewitness account PB.    We need an investigation.

I'll check tomorrow and then go with the decision of the official box score. Disappointing to hear that his only two hits this spring were lucky at best.

Well I was all excited when I saw that he went 2 for 3.  Then I read on here he beat out a grounder and then the outfielder dropped the ball on his double.  If he has to rely on beat out grounders for all his hits we're in deep dumpster fire.

Zimmerman is on fire, let's hope he can keep it going.   :)

Is it just me, or is Zimmerman playing far more than normal so far this spring?
